Degree Graduate Teacher Recruitment Notice

The Southwest Ethiopia Peoples Regional State Bureau of Education invites qualified candidates to apply for competitive teaching positions across multiple secondary and vocational subject areas. Eligible degree holders meeting the criteria below are encouraged to apply.

​General Qualification Requirements

• ​Education Background: Must be a graduate holding a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching/Pedagogy from a recognized public university through the regular program.

• ​PGDT Certification: Applicants must be trained in the Post Graduate Diploma in Teaching (PGDT) program (non-PGDT graduates may also apply under specific salary scales).

• ​Deployment: Candidates must be fully willing to be assigned and serve in schools across the region.

​Salary and Compensation

• ​PGDT Trained Candidates: Starting basic monthly salary of 13,732 ETB.

• ​Non-PGDT Trained Candidates: Starting basic monthly salary of 12,566 ETB.

​How to Apply
