About the Roles & Responsibilities
1. Senior Professional Nurse
- Role Summary: Lead patient care delivery, oversee bed-side nursing practices, and mentor junior nursing staff in clinical protocols.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
- License: Active and valid professional nursing license/registration in Ethiopia.
- Certifications: Mandatory BLS (Basic Life Support); ACLS is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of clinical nursing experience in a general or tertiary hospital setting.
- Key Competencies: Advanced clinical assessment, care plan execution, patient monitoring, and strong inter-departmental communication.
2. Senior Biomedical Engineer
- Role Summary: Manage, maintain, calibrate, and troubleshoot critical healthcare and diagnostic technology across hospital units to ensure maximum uptime and patient safety.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc Degree in Biomedical Engineering.
- Experience: Minimum 3–5+ years of hands-on experience maintaining hospital devices (ICU equipment, OR systems, imaging/diagnostic tools).
- Key Competencies: Preventive maintenance planning, technical troubleshooting, vendor management, equipment safety checks, and regulatory compliance.
3. AICU (Adult Intensive Care Unit) Nurse
- Role Summary: Deliver specialized, critical nursing care to patients requiring advanced life support, continuous monitoring, and complex intervention.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc or Diploma in Nursing with specialized critical care/ICU training.
- License: Valid nursing license with active registration.
- Certifications: Mandatory BLS and ACLS certifications.
- Experience: Minimum 2–4+ years of dedicated ICU/critical care bedside experience.
- Key Competencies: Hemodynamic monitoring, mechanical ventilator management, emergency medication administration, and rapid clinical decision-making under high pressure.
4. GI (Gastroenterology) Nurse
- Role Summary: Assist in diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures, manage specialized gastrointestinal care, and support outpatient GI clinics.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- License: Valid Ethiopian nursing license.
- Experience: 2+ years of experience in clinical nursing, with specialized exposure or training in Gastroenterology, Endoscopy, or Colonoscopy procedures.
- Key Competencies: Pre- and post-procedure patient recovery, conscious sedation monitoring, sterilization/maintenance of endoscopy equipment, and infection control.
5. OR Scrub Nurse
- Role Summary: Assist surgical teams within the Operating Theater, maintaining a sterile field, preparing specialized surgical instrumentation, and ensuring safe perioperative patient care.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc Degree or Diploma in Nursing.
- License: Valid professional nursing license with mandatory BLS certification.
- Experience: Minimum 3–4+ years of direct operating room scrub experience across general, orthopedic, or specialized surgical disciplines.
- Key Competencies: Strict aseptic techniques, instrument tracking/counts, emergency surgical readiness, and effective communication in high-stakes environments.
6. Medical Screening Center (GAMCA) Supervisor
- Role Summary: Oversee daily operations, workflow, compliance, and clinical record management for foreign travel medical screening (GAMCA / GCC Approved Medical Centers Association).
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc in Nursing, Public Health, Medical Laboratory Technology, or Healthcare Administration.
- Experience: Minimum 3+ years in a supervisory/administrative capacity within a clinical screening, laboratory, or diagnostic setting.
- Key Competencies: In-depth knowledge of GAMCA guidelines, quality assurance, patient/applicant flow management, record compliance, and team leadership.
7. Senior Accountant
- Role Summary: Maintain precise financial records, oversee general ledger operations, manage tax compliance, and assist in periodic audit closures and financial reporting under Ethiopian regulations and IFRS.
- Key Qualifications & Skills:
- Education: BSc/BA Degree in Accounting, Accounting & Finance, or related discipline.
- Experience: Minimum 4–6+ years of relevant experience (prior accounting experience in a healthcare or hospital setting is highly advantageous).
- Key Competencies: Expertise in IFRS compliance, Ethiopian tax laws (VAT, Payroll, Withholding), Peachtree/ERP accounting software, internal control enforcement, and financial reporting.
